Children’s day by CHRYSO Lanka

The CSR project which was initiated on May 2017 has been completed on 02nd October 2017. Under this, first task was to construct an open class room for the school near by the CHRYSO Lanka head office in Seeduwa. The newly built open classroom was handed over to students for the commemoration of World Children’s day, led by Mr. Jerome Besnoux and other staff members. A colorful ceromony with dancing and various performance was presented by students to mark this special occasion.

This project was implemented under the guidance of Mr. Jerome Besnoux, the Managing Director of Chryso Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Under this 11 concrete bench and interlocking of the surrounding area was built for the Primary class students in Bandaranaike Vidyalaya in Mukalangamuwa. The labour force of CHRYSO Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. and student’s parents were involved in this project. All the materials which were used in this were either resources discarded from CHRYSO Lanka and contributions of some material suppliers.

Through this project we expect the students to come outdoors from their traditional classrooms, feel and cope with environment and learn better.
